Christmas time is near
A time that fills some with drear
But when we take a moment to pause
We realize Christmas is about more than
just Santa Claus
It is about remembering the
birth of

baby -
A very special baby
God's only son -
His name is Jesus
God sent this very special gift
to us
So that we may know and share the gifts
of Him and Jesus
These gifts are known as the Fruit of
the Spirit
Love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control

My world fell apart
I realized then daddy that you were gone

I had to learn to be strong

When I took that first drink of
alcohol,
I passed through the gates of Hell
Life was one big party after the other,
too many to tell
As I traveled along this path of Hell
The parties became fewer as did my
drinking buddies that I thought I knew so well
I started isolating myself in this
living Hell
I didn't need anyone or anything else I
told myself
Misery and loneliness became my buddies
in this living Hell
God, someone please help me I would yell
I found myself at the end of the road of
this living Hell
Worn down and broken from the many times
I had fell
I began to pray to God for deliverance
from this living Hell
I saw this door opening, I walked
through it
out of this living Hell
On the other side were many good people
waiting with arms opened wide
I stepped into their arms, I had nothing
else to hide

Once there was a beautiful girl

handsome lad
Who united and later became a mom and dad
Dad went on to live with God in heaven
Life alone for mom and daughter began
The road they traveled together was a
bumpy one
As time passed, mom and daughter became
best of friends
A strong bond between the two was formed
They now, not only share their love for
each other
They also share their love for Jesus

"The Key To Youth"
As a child, I couldn't wait
turn
sixteen,
then eighteen and finally twenty-one
When I reached twenty-one, I wanted the
clock to stop so that my aging would be done
I found though that the clock would keep
on ticking
My once cherished youth was in for a
licking
I decided to run, but didn't know where
to go
Time started ticking by faster and
faster, somehow time had to be slowed
I stopped running and took a good look
at where
I had been
The road I had traveled had been really
rough and bumpy,
it was time for me to stop and let life really begin
I observed my elders who were so young
at heart
Through them I found the key to youth, I
knew where to start
Though the clock still keeps ticking
Now aging is in for a licking
Because time will not touch in me the
most important part
And that is staying forever young in my
heart
